Czech star, Marketa Vondrousova on Saturday, beat Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur in straight sets on Centre Court to win the 2023 Wimbledon women’s final.
Marketa Vondrousova beat Ons Jabuer 6-4, 6-4 to win the women’s crown. Incidentally, the loss was Ons Jabeur’s second successive flop. She lost last year’s final to Elena Rybakina.
Vondrousova is the first unseeded women’s singles champion in the open era after a storming run over the past fortnight in SW19.
